I am sorry it took me so long to acknowledge your email but in my travels I didn't have access to computer. Thank you so much for you great assistance with the sale of our home. It all started with three signs from God: (1) I remembered I had purchased my house with Remax in February 1995 (2) I received a Merchandiser with "Your Dream Team" Realtors full page advertisement and (3) I was driving down Dale Blvd. and Jim's van turned in front of me, that was confirmation to use Jim Gilbert, Remax. Our house was put on the market on 7 October 02 and Jim had four contracts on 9 October 02. Jim advised us on who we should select among the four contracts. Upon selecting the buyer, the closing date changed five different times and since time was of the essence Jim had to step in and assist the buyer, which was not his job. In order to close on the house before we left the state of Virginia we were faced with some difficult decisions which we were able to make with the help of Jim who took all necessary and needed steps to assist both us and the buyer. We greatly appreciate all your help and we highly recommended you to all our friends and family when they decide to purchase or sell there homes.

Before committing to a property, sit down with a real estate professional to discuss your options. Should you take possession as joint tenants? Will you have a 50/50 interest in the property, or should the interest be adjusted to reflect each person's share of the down payment or the monthly mortgage payment? Your agreements with your buying partner should be clearly expressed in writing.
